He earned his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioenvironmental Science from Morgan State University, where his research focused on wastewater monitoring of respiratory viruses — including influenza, RSV, and SARS-CoV-2 — to support public health decision-making and disease surveillance.
Dr. Solomon has extensive experience in environmental management, hazardous waste compliance, and public health preparedness. His work integrates environmental science, epidemiology, and data analytics to address complex public health and environmental challenges. He has contributed to research on pathogen surveillance, climate-health interactions, and environmental risk assessment, with a particular interest in developing innovative approaches for early disease detection and prevention.
